The Mattress Doctor®, established in the UK in mid 2002, operated two company owned territories before launching the Franchise opportunity in April 2003.

Since the launch, we have regularly attracted media attention on the TV, Radio and in national and local newspapers and magazines which have helped generate enquiries for our franchisees as well as enquiries from franchisees from all walks of life who are excited by the concept and business opportunity. We have also expanded our operations into The Republic of Ireland, the United States of America, Canada, Spain, South Africa, Norway and Cyprus.

We believe our success and the considerable interest in the Franchise opportunity is due to a number of factors which differentiate us from other Franchise opportunities and from the various "me too" operations that are endeavouring to copy us, most of which are just dealerships offering little or no ongoing support. A visit to the British Franchise Association website and a look at the statistics will show that the chances of success are greatly increased if you run a franchise as opposed to starting on your own in business.

		We are the only operator using specifically designed commercial equipment as opposed to a converted domestic machine used by most of our competitors; our reliability is second to none.

		As a franchisor we do as much as possible to ensure that our franchisees get off to the best possible start and continue to do well.

		We set appointments with hotels and will attend some with you.

		During the first six months, we deliver leaflets to households in designated areas within your exclusive territory and run an advertising campaign in your local media.

		All of this is just part of the work we do on our franchisees behalf and at our cost. And of course we're always available to talk to and assist in any way we can. More of this later.
