Asthma sufferers who use anti-allergy mattress covers may be wasting their time and money.
The special covers do not help improve the condition or reduce the amount of medication needed, a study shows. More than 1,100 adults took part in the research funded by the Department of health. Two-thirds remained sensitive to dust mites whether using anti-allergy covers or normal ones. |
